For busy people who don’t have time to go to the gym, brisk
walking at least 30 minutes can suffice to give you a good start. When you walk
for at least half an hour a day, you will have a “happy” feeling as you go to
work or to attend to your other activities. As you walk, your body is
invigorated to send out endorphins or the happy hormones.
When you have a “happy feeling” your day won’t be as
stressful and taxing as you think even if you are in the situation.
Brisk walking promotes good circulation. After walking
continuously walking for 30 minutes, you will feel your heart beat and when you
take a rest, you will feel the pulses in your veins. The feeling is wonderful
when you experience all of these. Your veins open up to accommodate the blood
rush into your system. Brisk walking also strengthens the walls of your veins,
making it stronger and healthier.
And when you do brisk walking daily, you are burning a great
amount of calories, making you slimmer and chic. You don’t have to go out to
perform this activity; you can do it at home, using treadmill, or you can go up
and down the stairs for 30 minutes or go through and fro anywhere in your
house.
